One more inactive group, or already dead. Alas...
Dear members,
I'm contributer of this gruop and I don't have the permission to submit a journal entry. I hope to reach at least some of you with this comment.
I'm sure you already realized that there's no activity in this gruop since rather a long time. Many submissions expired. The reason: our founder left DA, the co-founder is inactive since 2013, and the majority of our contibuters is inactive, too. It doesn't make sense to keep a group like this alive but the problem is that it can just be closed and deleted by the founder. I contacted the helpdesk to find a solution for this problem as I hate dead groups that exist by name only. To replace the founder with another admin of the gruop there has to be a majority vote for one individual. Since most of our admins are inactive there were only 2 votes and that's not enough to install a new founder. That means that this group cannot be closed though it's definitely dead.
Before leaving the gruop - ther's no point in staying here any longer - I wanted to inform you about this unpleasant situation.
Thanks to all members who submitted photos to the gruop and thanks to TRunna for trying to help me to close the gruop.
